Description
My favorite salad inside warm crusty bread!
Ingredients
- 4 slices Sourdough Bread
- 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Large Roma Tomato, Sliced Thin
- 8 Basil Leaves
- Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Garlic Powder (optional)
Preparation
Preheat panini maker. Assemble sandwiches: lay out bread, top with mozzarella cheese, tomato slices and basil. Brush olive oil onto each side of the sandwich. Lay on pannini maker. Top each sandwich with 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese and garlic powder if using. Close panini maker and toast until done.
