Creamy, garlicy pizza, for those nights when you just need a bit of comfort food!
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Peel off outer layer of garlic, cut off top, wrap in aluminum foil, and place in the oven. Bake for about 30-35 minutes.
Remove garlic cloves (they should just squeeze out), set aside, and increase oven temperature to 450ºF.
Meanwhile, in a small sauce pan, combine butter and flour to form a roux. Add milk and reduce until thick, about 5-6 minutes. Add garlic and cheddar cheese, and combine.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add sausage and cook until skin is blistered, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and chop into smaller pieces.
Roll out pizza dough and spread white sauce evenly on top. Add mozzarella cheese, sausage, artichoke hearts, and bell peppers.
Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
