Just made the pork chops with apples for dinner and served with garlic mashed potatos. The recipe was quick and easy. The flavor was just ok. My family ate it but weren’t saying how good it was. The sauce was very thin. Not something I would make again.

Made it all & it was ridiculous amounts of delicious. The whole family loved it. This was something I never would have thought to make together, but it worked perfectly. So much flavor!

This. Was. AMAZING. Definitely use wine with the apples–the flavor is awesome. I made the grits with this as well, and I will definitely make it again! Great meal!

These were good, easy and the kids really liked them. I think a tiny bit bland, although I substituted apple juice for the white wine, and used not real maple syrup- that could’ve been where some of the taste disappeared to.

The pork chops were awesome and we also made the grits, even though we had to use store bought. This was a fabulous meal and we all had seconds. This will go in our folder of meals to be made again. We loved the combination!

OMG! I was laughing so hard reading the narrative of this recipe and reference to Peter Brady and the Pork Chops and Applesauce thing! I thought I was the only one who remembered that little skit! Apparently there are alot more people that remember it too! Anyway, I can’t make pork chops without thinking about Peter Brady…. Can’t wait to try this recipe! Thanks for the giggles, for sharing the recipe and for the Brady Bunch Blast from the Past!

I made this recipe last night and it was absolutely delicious. I drained the bacon before starting the grits and I used regular grits since I didn’t have the fancy stone ground grits. It’s going to become a fall/winter favorite for sure!
