This is the basic recipe from my friend Millard who had a black belt in the kitchen. You can adjust the flavors with the type of blue cheese you use and the amount of sugar and vinegar.
Mash blue cheese in the buttermilk with a fork in a small bowl until mixture resembles cottage cheese with small curds.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust seasonings, sugar and garlic powder. Cover. Can be refrigerated up to 14 days.
