A relatively sinless way to enjoy a chili-cheese dog.
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Meanwhile, coat a loaf pan with cooking spray. Place hot dogs in the buns and carefully put in the loaf pan (they will be snug). Top each dog with 1/4 cup chili, 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese, and equal parts scallions (reserve some for topping later).
3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and let tops get slightly crisp, 3–5 minutes. Top each with a dollop of sour cream, dash of hot sauce, and remaining scallions.

This looks good! Who ever thought to bake chili dogs? Neat idea. My husband loves chili dogs so I am going to try soon. I think the way the cheese would melt in the oven would be super yummy! Thanks for sharing.
