The cheater’s way to make smoky pulled pork.
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add pork and sear for about a minute per side. Remove and set aside.
2. Place seared pork in the slow cooker along with the liquid smoke and salt, to taste. Cook on high for 4 hours (or on low for 8 hours).
3. Remove pork and shred with two forks. Serve on a bun, in tacos, or even in stew.
