#549 Kelly W: “Sunday is my birthday and I’m being spoiled the whole weekend!! My daughter and her kids are taking me out Saturday and then my brother and his partner invited me to their place on Sunday. A girl could get kind of use to being spoiled like that!” (Talk about perfect timing!)

Funny you should ask ‘cos I’m making a big batch of freezer food to send to my recently widowed Mom-in-Law tomorrow as I am typing this today. Chicken is stewing, marinara is simmering, and pie filling is already done. Going to make individual homemade chicken pies with lots of veggies, lasagna roll ups, fresh cut off the cob corn, blueberry sweet rolls, peach cobbler, macaroni & cheese, and squash and zucchini casseroles. She’s a great cook still at 89, but it’s no fun cooking for one.
