Description

Finally, after going through 20 oatmeal raisin recipes, I finally found one that tastes just like the restaurants!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Butter, Room Temperature
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1-½ cup Raisins

Preparation

1. Preheat oven 350ºF. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
2. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
3. Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture. Stir in oats and raisins.
4. Drop by tablespoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake 11-13 minutes.

I just made these and they were delicious! My favorite cookie by the way….. I also added 1 tsp of cinnamon and ran out of old fashioned oatmeal after 2 cups, so had to use 1 c of quick. These were more fluffy than your picture…..We loved them, thank-you!

These cookies are really perfect! Oatmeal-raisin are my husband’s favorite so I have tried many recipes and these are the best. I also added a tsp of cinnamon as we love the spice in these cookies. Thanks for sharing!

These were amazing! I substituted semi-sweet chocolate chips for the raisins because of my hubby’s preferences, but I definitely want to try them with raisins now too. I made them for our small group and people were raving about them–this is no ordinary cookie! Thank you for shraring this excellent recipe!
