I make a VERY similar version: 3 cups p. sugar, 8 oz. cream cheese, 12 oz. semisweet chocolate, 1 tsp vanilla. I make them every year at Christmas and sometimes substitute hazelnut or amaretto for the vanilla. =)

These were great and naturally gluten-free. They are like cream cheese frosting in candy form. Thanks for sharing.

I made these this evening for a get togeather with a foriegn language club that I sponser and everyone enjoyed them greatly! I thank you for the recipe. Also I have an additional topping that goes great with these, if you take them and dip them in melted chocolate with paraphin wax (i think I spelled it right)or chocolate bakers chocolate and then drizzle white chocolate on it, it is also good. ok and dipped in white chocolate :) both are good so I decided to share them with you as well, Enjoy!
