Description

This is a delicious and beautiful way to use up your Thanksgiving leftovers. And this doesn’t just use up the turkey, but the stuffing, cranberries and gravy too!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Bread Dough (store Bought Or Your Favorite Basic Loaf Bread Recipe)
  • 2 cups Chopped Cooked/Leftover Turkey
  • 1-½ cup Turkey Gravy Or 1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup (10 Ounce Can)
  • 1-½ cup Prepared Stuffing
  • ½ cups Cranberry Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 dash Pepper

Preparation

Roll the bread dough onto a greased 10 x 15 inch baking pan.
To make the braid, cut 1 inch strips (cut inwards, towards the middle of the dough) along both of the long sides of the dough. The strips should be 1 inch wide by 4 inches long. This will leave a solid strip in the middle for the filling. Combine all the remaining ingredients. Spoon the filling down the center of the dough. Starting at one end, pick up one of the strips an lay it over the filling. Alternate pulling a strip from each side to form a crisscross pattern. Let rise for 25 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
