Description

A healthy, tasty way to prepare tilapia.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 4 whole Tilapia Fillets
  • 1 Tablespoon Cavender's Seasoning
  • ⅔ cups Whole Wheat Flour

Preparation

In a shallow dish, sprinkle cavendar’s on one side of the tilapia fillet with a pinch or two or three, coating to taste (too much will be too salty). After the Cavender’s, coat both sides of the tilapia with the whole wheat flour. Repeat until all tilapia fillets are coated.

Heat coconut oil on high heat until melted and add fillets to pan.

Cook tilapia until nicely browned and cooked all the way through (about 2-3 minutes per side minimum, and longer for extra crispy, about 4-6 minutes per side).

Remove from heat.

Plate.

Eat.

Pleasantly surprised by how tasty this was, for how simple it is. 6 Thumbs up – one for each member of my family! I used Johnny’s Seasoning Salt instead of Cavender’s.

Simple and tasty. And my 1 and 2 year old girls liked it too.
