Description

The burgers are juicy and full of flavor. Even better, they aren’t made with a ton of added fat or oil!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
  • ½ bunches Cilantro, Finely Chopped
  • 4 whole Green Onions, Green Parts Only, Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Peanut Sauce (I Used House Of Tsang Bangkok Padang Peanut Sauce)
  • 1 whole Lime, Zest And Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 Tablespoons Prepared Honey Mustard
  • ½ teaspoons Curry Powder

Preparation

Prepare the curry mayonnaise first. Mix together the mayonnaise, honey mustard, a bit of the cilantro, curry powder, lime juice, and the zest of half the lime. Mix well and keep in the fridge. You can add more or less of these ingredients to your own taste.

Next, take the turkey, garlic, cilantro, green onions, remaining lime zest (not juice) and peanut sauce. Mix together well, and season with salt and pepper. Let marinate for at least an hour (I marinated mine for 2 1/2 hours).

Form the turkey into 4 patties. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a large skillet and carefully place all the burgers into the heated pan. Cook on high heat for a few minutes and then flip the burgers. Turn the heat down and cover the pan. Cook until the juices run clear out of the burgers. This will take about 5-10 more minutes. Let burgers rest for 5 minutes before eating.

To assemble the burgers, use the curry mayonnaise to dress the burgers and top with your choice of veggies.
