A delicious chili that’s quick to put together and healthy, too.
Brown turkey in a large pot over medium high heat. Drain grease. Add remaining ingredients to turkey. Bring it to a boil then turn down heat and allow to simmer 1 to 2 hours, and serve with crackers or cornbread.
There is some flexibility in ingredients. I prefer kidney beans, but my husband prefers black beans in his chili. It’s delicious with either. Also, I like a thicker, heartier chili, so I rarely add a whole cup of water. You can add the amount of water for your desired consistency.
