Description

This is not good for you—you’ve been warned! I don’t want to be thrown under the bus if you have to explain yourself to your doctor or Weight Watchers meeting leader. However, kids inhale this stuff and adults secretly crave it; it makes a lot and freezes well. Spaghetti, cheese and more cheese—what’s not to LOVE? I serve it with a mountain of vegetables to help overcome my lingering guilt.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Or Half Beef And Half Sausage
  • 44 ounces, fluid Jarred Spaghetti Sauce
  • 16 ounces, weight Spaghetti
  • 16 ounces, fluid Cheez Whiz
  • 8 ounces, fluid Sour Cream
  • ½ cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (more Or Less)

Preparation

Spray an 11×14 baking pan (I use my broiler pan) with nonstick spray. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Brown ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbled. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook spaghetti according to box directions; drain well. Combine Cheez Whiz and sour cream with pasta; mix well. Stir in spaghetti sauce mixture. Pour into the prepared pan. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

I made this for dinner tonight. It was great and my husband and kids loved it. It comes out very “rich” and delish. Great recipe!
