Description

A friend shared this recipe with me after she brought it to a potluck dinner. I love to assemble everything in the crock pot insert on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, I take it out of the fridge, put it in the crock pot on low, and when we get home from church, dinner is ready!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ pound Ground Beef, Browned And Drained
  • 16 ounces, weight Rigatoni, Cooked As Directed
  • 16 ounces, weight Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 4 ounces, weight Can Of Sliced Mushrooms
  • ½ cups Chopped Onion
  • 2 jars Pizza Sauce: 12-16 Ounces Each
  • 1 package (6 To 8 Oz. Package) Sliced Pepperoni

Preparation

Layer ingredients in a buttered slow cooker as follows: cooked ground beef, cooked pasta, cheese, soup, mushrooms, onions, sauce and pepperoni.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.

Made this last night and loved it! I used fresh mushrooms sauteed in a bit of butter instead of canned. Only change I would make is to cut back on the pizza sauce. It was a bit too saucy.
