Description

This Slow Cooker Pizza Chili is a fun twist on a classic comfort dish that will keep you coming back for more!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 pound Ground MILD Italian Sausage
  • 1 package (6 Oz. Size) Pepperoni Slices, Halved
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Pizza Sauce
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (14 1/2 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes, Undrained (Any Flavor)
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
  • ½  White Onion, Diced
  • 1  Green Pepper, Diced
  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 1-½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • ½ teaspoons White Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Italian Seasoning, Sour Cream, To Serve (optional)

Preparation

In a large skillet, brown and crumble ground beef and Italian sausage until cooked through. Drain and add to slow cooker.

Add pepperoni slices, pizza sauce, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, green pepper, chili powder, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, sugar, and black pepper to slow cooker.
Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

Serve with shredded mozzarella cheese and a dash of Italian seasoning and/or sour cream, if desired. Enjoy!
