Fresh Ahi Tuna is coated in sesame seeds and quickly seared on the grill. Served with Wasabi Mayo and Sweet Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce. Perfect for a dinner entree, over a salad for lunch or as a crowd pleasing appetizer!
1. Heat grill to high and spray lightly with cooking oil.
2. Mix white and black sesame seeds with salt and wasabi powder in a shallow dish. Press both sides of tuna into sesame seed mixture to coat.
3. Place tuna on the hot grill and cook two minutes per side.
4. Remove tuna from grill and place on a cutting board. Allow to cool slightly then, using a very sharp knife, slice tuna into thin slices.
5. Place sliced tuna on a platter and serve with Wasabi Mayo and Sweet Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce.
WASABI MAYO:
Mix mayo and wasabi in a small dish.
SWEET SESAME SOY DIPPING SAUCE:
Add sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, honey and cilantro to a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well to mix. Pour into a small bowl to serve with seared tuna.
