Description

The combination of these ingredients and flavors is absolute bliss.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil Packed Sun-dried Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 4 slices Italian Bread, Such As Ciabatta Or Pugliese
  • 4 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 2 slices Prosciutto
  • 2 slices Roasted Turkey Breast
  • ½ whole Avocado, Thinly Sliced

Preparation

Preheat a panini grill to medium-high heat (375ºF).

In a small bowl, combine the mayo and sundried tomatoes.

On one side of each slice of bread, evenly spread the sundried tomato mayonnaise. For the bottom half of each sandwich, lay a slice of Swiss cheese. Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each slice of turkey breast and place it onto the Swiss cheese. Add the avocado, and top it off with another slice of Swiss cheese. Close the sandwich with the top half of Italian bread.

Grill for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

My husband and I both enjoyed this panini recipe. We did, however, feel that it could use just a little more flavor.
