Description

A salty and sweet panini with gooey gouda cheese!

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Ciabatta Bread, Sliced Open
  • ½ pounds Prosciutto
  • 1 whole Pear, Sliced
  • 4 slices Goats Milk Gouda
  • ½ cups Honey
  • Olive Oil, To Drizzle Over Panini

Preparation

Note: you can choose to use smoked gouda or fontina if you prefer.

Slice the ciabatta open and layer prosciutto, pear, cheese and drizzle a generous amount of honey over the top. Top with ciabatta and drizzle olive oil over each side. Place in a panini press and grill until gooey.

If you don’t have a panini press, just use a skillet and set a heavy pan or pot on top of the sandwich. Halfway through, flip the sandwich so each side gets grilled.

I used sourdough wraps, but stuck to the rest of the ingredients. Yum!
