A salty and sweet panini with gooey gouda cheese!
Note: you can choose to use smoked gouda or fontina if you prefer.
Slice the ciabatta open and layer prosciutto, pear, cheese and drizzle a generous amount of honey over the top. Top with ciabatta and drizzle olive oil over each side. Place in a panini press and grill until gooey.
If you don’t have a panini press, just use a skillet and set a heavy pan or pot on top of the sandwich. Halfway through, flip the sandwich so each side gets grilled.
