Hi, it is a spice that is a mixture of Black pepper, paprika, cloves, cumin, nutmeg, cardamom and red pepper. You can make your own or buy it that way, I got mine from http://www.myspicesage.com, which is a great site to buy all kinds of spices :-) Hope that helps, the roast is awesome!

Nope I never used cream based soups for my pork roast in the crock pot, this is amazing, I hope you try it :-)

This looks great – I can’t wait to try it. Normally these types of recipes called for a cream based soup. Thanks!

Very good! Simple and tasty! I couldn’t find the baharat spice, so I just used a few other spices in the cabinet.

This was a hit! Love the new spice mixture, and the leftovers were fabulous in a Greek wrap the next day! Yum!

Really tasty! I made it with onions, carrots, potatoes and celery in the bottom of the pot and added some chicken broth for moisture. The spices were delicious and it was super tender. I was hoping for leftovers, but it all disappeared!

I made this recipe yesterday and it was wonderful! I didn’t have “baharat” so I googled it then made my own. I placed the roast on a bed of sliced onion and one sliced orange jus caus and it was moist, flavorful and a hit with my husband!
