Penne pasta and chicken in a creamy pesto sauce.
Combine heavy whipping cream and pesto in a medium sauce pan cook on low stirring occasionally.
Cook and chop chicken.
Cook pasta (al dente) and combine with sauce and chicken. Sauce will thicken once combined with pasta.
Stir in Parmesan until melted and sprinkle more on top once plated. Salt and pepper to taste.
You can use any basil pesto but it is delicious with fresh homemade pesto.

Great flavor, but the cream sauce didn’t really thicken after adding it to the pasta. Next time I will try cooking the sauce over medium heat to reduce for a bit.
