Description

A delicious twist to pork sandwiches!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Pork Loin Roast
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 16 ounces, weight Jar Pepperoncini Peppers
  • 8 whole Hoagie Rolls
  • Provolone Cheese Slices

Preparation

Place pork loin roast in crockpot. Season with salt and pepper. Rub minced garlic around top of pork. Pour entire jar of pepperoncini peppers on top of pork (including liquid). Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

When pork is finished cooking, remove from crockpot and set on a cutting board. Cut/shred meat. Return to crockpot, stir and let cook 10-15 more minutes to allow meat to soak up juices.

Set oven to broil. Cut hoagie rolls in half and set on baking sheet. Spoon about 1/2 cup pork onto bottom slice of roll. Be sure to put some pepperoncini slices on top. Top with 1 slice provolone cheese. Repeat with remaining meat and rolls.

Broil in oven 3 to 4 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Keep a close watch on it to make sure it doesn’t burn! Remove from oven. Place other half of bread on top of pork.

Serve with fruit or chips.
