Description

This tastes amazing. Spiced meat, creamy goat cheese, juicy tomatoes and fresh crisp red leaf lettuce stuffed inside a crisp ciabatta bun and layered with Gloria spread (pureed roasted red pepper sauce). Warm, crisp and gooey good. If you want to make it vegetarian, it’s equally as good!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Ciabatta Bread Bun
  • 2 Tablespoons Goat Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Gloria Spread
  • 2 slices Prosciutto
  • 4 slices Hot Genoa Salami
  • 1  Ripe Tomato, Sliced
  • 2 leaves Red Leaf Lettuce
  • ¼ cups Grated Asiago Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil

Preparation

1. Preheat a panini grill on high.
2. Cut ciabatta loaf in half sandwich style.
3. On the cut side of one half spread goat cheese, on the other half spread Gloria spread.
4. Lay the prosciutto and salami on top of the goat cheese.
5. Place the tomatoes, lettuce and Asiago cheese on top.
6. Drizzle some olive oil over it and add a dash of salt and pepper.
7. Place the other half of the bun on top.
8. Place it in the grill and heat through until cheese melts.
9. If you don’t have a grill use the oven and place some weight on top of the sandwich.
10. Cut and plate with some olives and tomatoes dressed with olive oil and oregano.
11. The next step is crucial. Enjoy!
