This was my first attempt at making chicken and dumplings. Other recipes seemed so complicated. This was too easy and it turned out perfect. I seasoned with salt, pepper, and onion and garlic seasoning mix. My whole family loved it. We all said it tasted better than any we had ever eaten in a restaurant. This is now “the” chicken and dumpling recipe for my family.

LOVED IT! Exactly what I was looking for!! I made this for my picky-peter husband, for his birthday supper. HE LOVED IT!! The only shortcut I took was using those rotisserie chickens because I was short on time. SO GOOD!! He said it was “exactly like Pops.” Huge compliment in my book

These were good! I usually cut up biscuits from a can for my dumplings (the lazy way), and while these were obviously a little more work, it was well worth it. I’ll be making it this way again! I boiled my chicken and used the same broth, instead of store-bought, and added pepper and parsley for extra flavor.

This is really good recipe! I made my own quick broth using the chicken I needed for this recipe. The dumplings are super light and very easy to make. Once done I sprinkled a little chopped parsley and green onion on top. Awesome!!!

This looks like a wonderful meal to make this winter on a cold day! I used to make this, but for some reason have not made it in ages. Maybe I should put it on my menu for next week. I look forward to trying it.
