YUM! My husband would have rated this a 2 or 3. He felt it took away from the flavor of the steak. Despite how good I thought this was, I still agreed with my husband that it doesn’t beat a fabulous, unadorned, grilled steak, but it is still good if you’re looking to do something a little different with your steak.

My boyfriend and I tested this out and it was SO delicious – and such an easy way to add a kick to your steak if you’re in the mood for something a little different.
We did use smaller steaks, so it made WAY too much sauce, but I just sopped it up with some bread so it would stop staring at me and taunting me…

This is very good. I only gave four just because my fiance and I changed it a little. We added some fresh parsley, turmeric and seasoned salt just to add a little more flavor.

This sauce is AMAZING and I get cravings for it on a regular basis. I adore the blue cheese/onion combination.

I made this for our 34th wedding anniversary dinner and my husband fell in love with me all over again. We absolutely loved this. Thanks for a great recipe.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. We could debate the merit of steak standing on it’s own all day, but if you want a change from lovely plain steak, please try this. You won’t be disappointed. My husband and I absolutely loved this. Accompanied with Ree’s Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, this was a very fine meal. We made it with fillet mignon…may make for Christmas dinner – it was THAT good! Thank you Mrs. Drummond!

This was FABULOUS!!! I loved it so much, and I don’t even really like steak! My boyfriend really liked it too. I liked the sauce so much that I thought about just making the sauce and putting it over pasta or gnocchi. Mmmmmmm…

Cowabunga!! The sauce was scrumptious with the steak and agree with bluejeanbaby07 it would go well with pasta thinned out a little bit. Ummm!

I made this for our 9th anniversary dinner a few weeks ago – I’m pretty sure if given the choice, he’d rework our vows to incorporate “will forever make me onion bleu cheese sauce at my whim”

I made this after your PW Cooks post and was instantly in love! My boyfriend, who claims not to like onion or blue cheese, actually licked his plate clean. I can’t wait to try it on other dishes, like burgers, although it might be too much for chicken. It’s a blend of some very strong flavors so make sure you have something that can stand up to it and robust red wine to sip.

I made this and just about pee’d my pants it was so good!
I will definitely make this again, only to substitute it with gorgonzolla cheese.

Add another one who has a husband that doesnt like Bleu Cheese! I of course didnt tell him what was in the sauce, and he LOVED it! Very quick and easy to make, the perfect addition to any steak.

I made this the day PW posted it on her main site, and have been making it at least twice a week since. Seriously! It is that easy & good! And the extra sauce? Can be used to hide veggies!!!
It is outrageously good–don’t be afraid if you’re not a bleu fan, give it a whirl!

I made this for my hubby and father in law after they had a long day harvesting squash. They loved it! I paired it with some homemade french bread to mop up the extra sauce, perfect!

I made this and it was good – but I have to admit, not as good as I was expecting. The sauce was pretty strong so we just dipped our steak in it instead of putting the steak on top. And we love bleu cheese. I will try it again – wondering if I reduced it too much and that made it too thick.
It was yummy, just not as good as I expected.
