Description

Marinated grilled chicken with soy sauce, lemon, green onion and a little brown sugar. Makes an amazing dinner for the weekend with the family!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Bone-in Skin On Chicken
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ cups Chopped Green Onion
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • 2 cups Water

Preparation

Note this requires a minimum 1 hour of marinating time, but 24 hours is best.

Place chicken in a mixing bowl along with soy sauce and green onions. Add brown sugar and squeeze the lemon juice over the top. Might as well throw the remaining lemons in as well. Add water and give it a little stir.

Place in the fridge for an hour (up to 24 hours for best results).

When the chicken is ready place over medium heat on your grill. Let it sit for about 3-5 minutes. Turn with tongs every 5 minutes or so. It should need around 15-25 minutes to cook depending on your grill. You’re looking to get an internal temperature of 165-170 F. Remove from the grill to a clean plate. Let it rest for about 5 minutes then serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
