Description

The perfect balance of flavours in a smoky grilled catfish!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped Small
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 5  Catfish Fillets

Preparation

Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl or large freezer bag. Add the catfish and flip to coat the fish in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic or seal the bag. Marinate in the fridge for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Heat up your grill to medium high heat. I used charcoal. Place the fish on the grill. If you catfish has skin, grill flesh side first to get grill marks. Discard the marinade. Grill 5-8 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Remove from the grill and serve!
