Description

Reminds me of when I was kid and life was easy.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Chuck
  • 1 whole Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 whole Green Pepper, Medium Chop
  • 2 stalks Celery, Medium Chop, Including Leaves
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 8 ounces, fluid Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 8 whole Hamburger Buns

Preparation

Brown meat with chopped onion; drain. Add green peppers, celery and leaves; cook until soft. Add ketchup, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar and Worcestershire sauce; stir well to combine. Simmer 15–20 minutes before serving.

Note: To save on time and money, omit the green pepper and onion and use half of small bag of a frozen pepper and onion stir fry blend.

These are the best sloppy Joe’s I’ve ever had! They are very easy and super delicious. They also freeze well IF there’s any left!
