Description

The flavors of lemon, garlic and parsley really brighten up this dish! This recipe is so simple and delicious, perfect for a busy weeknight meal!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Fresh Tilapia Fillets
  • 1 clove Garlic, Pressed Or Finely Minced
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley, Chopped
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Use a nonstick baking sheet or line with foil.

Pat the tilapia dry with paper towels. Place fillets in the baking sheet and set aside.

Quickly press the garlic into a small bowl, and then add the melted butter, lemon juice, the minced fresh parsley and then the salt and pepper. Whisk until combined and then drizzle the garlic butter evenly on top of the tilapia fillets, and then brush to cover the entire tilapia fillet.

Bake in the preheated oven until the fish is starting to turn opaque, about 6–8 minutes. Then turn on the broiler on high and broil for 2–3 more minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes when pulled apart with a fork. Serve hot!

I’ve been looking for a recipe to get my husband to eat more fish. I think this could be it! Thanks so much. Very excited to try this :)

This is oh-so-good! I had it with St. Peter fillets, instead of Tilapia (that´s what I had in the fridge…) and it tasted absolutely great with some pasta with butter and parmesan.

Great recipe!

Yummy. Used thyme in place of parsley.

Very good and very easy. I had to let mine cook a little bit longer than the recipe called for but other than that…perfection.

made it, loved it, will make it again. Super easy! I did a light sprinkle of dried dill once I put the lemon garlic mixture on.
