Great new crockpot meal! I used 2 pounds of chicken breasts and it still was plenty of sauce and flavored the chicken well.

I also used two large chicken breasts (with the bones still in, I just took them out when cutting the meat) and it turned out awesome. I could taste the cornstarch, so I think next time I’ll just leave the sauce runny. And I think I’ll omit most of the red pepper–I prefer less spicy food. Husband loved it just the way it was though.

My family loved this dish and I’ll definitely be making it again. Best of all, it was incredibly easy and quick to throw together and it cooks quickly. You can start this early in the afternoon and it’s still ready for dinner. As much as I love long simmering dishes on the stove or in the crock pot this time of year, it’s definitely nice to have one that you can throw together at the last minute (last minute for a crock pot I mean.)Thanks for a quick and tasty recipe.

I had to work tonight, so I set this in the crock pot for my husband before I left. He texted me as soon as he had his first bite and said, “I’m excited for dinners for the rest of our life. 10/10!” Thanks so much for this super easy and yummy recipe!

My family loved this one and it was really easy! I think I might try chicken breast next time instead of thigh because it was a little greasy for me.

Theeee Best! Quick, easy and great. Served it over basmati rice. Thanks for our new “keeper”.

Delicious & easy! Next time tho I will do what some of the other users recommended. I followed recipe with 1lb chicken, and had so much sauce left over. Next time I think I will do 2lb.

We loved this recipe. I used chicken breast and omitted the red pepper but added ginger. Absolutely delish!!

Yummy! Sweet with a nice burn (a little spicy for my kids) but I agree– a lot of sauce, so I will likely add more chicken next time. Boneless skinless thighs were perfect.

I wondered about the bourbon as well?? Decided to try it anyway … and added bourbon!
I’ll post my review with our verdict?
