Description

This meal is not dry, has only 5 ingredients, and is ready in 3 hours! I literally put this recipe together at about 2 in the afternoon and it was ready by 5! So on those days when you just can’t get things together to prepare something early in the crock pot, this is a perfect alternative!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 4  Boneless, Pork Loin Chops, 1/2 Inch Thick
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ cups No Sugar Added Apple Juice
  • ½ cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • ½ cups Onion, Sliced
  • 2  Firm, Ripe Pears, Sliced

Preparation

Melt butter in a saute pan over medium heat until it melts. Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper. Add pork to the saute pan and cook on each side until browned.

Pour apple juice and applesauce into the crock pot. Place sliced onion over applesauce. Add pork chops on top of onions. Add sliced pears on top of the pork chops.

Cook on high for 3 hours. Enjoy with some of my Mango Salsa (see my recipe box) on top!
