Description

This recipe is a delicious and easy way to serve pork chops, plus it makes its own gravy.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Lean Pork Chops
  • 1 whole Medium Onion, Sliced Or Diced
  • ½ cups Cup Sliced Mushrooms
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 Oz Size) Mushroom Soup
  • 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper

Preparation

Place pork chops in a crock pot (or in a baking dish for the oven). Lay onion slices (I chopped mine but you could also do rings) and mushrooms (my family won’t eat the mushrooms) over the pork chops.

Mix the rest of ingredients in a bowl and pour over the pork chops. Cook on low in the crock pot for 5 to 6 hours (or in the oven on 350F for 1 hour).

Serve with mashed potatoes.

Note: After baking, I remove the chops and strain the gravy. This way I have a smooth gravy and I reserve the onions (and mushrooms if you used them) for those who like them so they can put them on their chops.

This is a wonderful recipe! So easy and tasty and perfect when having to work all day. I saved most of the gravy and served it over pasta the next day and got two meals out of one!

Wow! My husband and I loved this. It was very simple to put together, made the house smell heavenly and tasted fantastic. The pork chops were so tender and the gravy was delicious over mashed potatoes. I will be making it again very soon. Thanks!

These were so delicious! I used bone-in chops and by the time they were done, I just pulled out the bones and had a pork gravy sauce to pour over mashed potatoes. Yum.

I’m not a big Pork chop fan but I loved it this way. I’ll definitely make it again.

Pork chops were very tender. I used one can of golden mushroom and one can of cream of mushroom and cut the soy sauce in half. My family ate them up!

Very good, extremely easy…a little salty for us, though. I’d cut back on the soy sauce by at least a tablespoon. Otherwise a hit with the family!

Made these last night and they were really good. I always keep an eye out for a good pork chop recipe as I don’t really like them, but my husband does. I’ve made your ranch pork chops before and they were excellent, so I thought I would give these a try. It was really easy to put together and I served the gravy over some egg noodles. Very tasty – definitely going on my ‘pork chop recipes I like’ list. Thanks!
