A light, garlicky tomato sauce to slather on any type of pasta!
Saute the garlic and onion in olive oil until softened but not brown. Add tomato sauce and chunky tomatoes. Let it come to a simmer then add salt and pepper to taste, red pepper flakes, sugar, basil leaves and bay leaf.
Simmer for 30 minutes. Sauce will bubble, thicken a bit and smell divine!
Pour over any kind of pasta you care to consume. Light and delicious and quick!
