Apple-y-cheesy-goodness!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • ⅓ cups Sour Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Dried Dill Weed
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • FOR THE SANDWICHES:
  • 6 slices Good Quality Bread
  • 1 whole Apple, Cored And Thinly Sliced
  • 6 slices Sharp Cheddar
  • 12 slices Deli Ham
  • 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and mix well.

Spread 1 tablespoon of sauce on one side of 3 slices of bread. Top the sauce with sliced apples, ham and cheese. Place remaining slices of bread on top of each sandwich.

Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat or preheat your panini press.

Brush the tops of each sandwich with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place sandwiches butter side down on the hot grill pan or panini press and brush the remaining side with butter.

Cook until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Serve with remaining sauce.
