WOW – my hubby and I could not get enough of this recipe! We’re trying to lose weight, so I substituted ground turkey, low-fat sour cream, and low-fat mozzarella cheese and we used Vodka Tomato Sauce (sadly, no home-made sauce for us) and it was fantastic. This is definitely added to our favorite recipes!!

Comforting and lovely. REALLY tastes like lasagna – but without all the fuss. I used a spicy tomato sauce (we like things hot) and added some black pepper to the hamburger while it cooked. Left the cheese out so we could top it with the desired amount before reheating for left overs. With salad and crusty bread, this is a wonderful meal!

Just made this for dinner and it was definitely easy! It tasted great too BUT, she’s right, it’s all in the sauce!! We used a store bought kind and it was just ok. Next time I will make my own homemade spaghetti sauce and then see how it tastes. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it is really good!

This could not have been easier, simpler, and more yummy. My boys and husband loved it. I do agree that the quality of marinara sauce is important, as it is front and center in the dish. I also stirred in some grated Parmesan toward the end and it was yummy.

Very, very good! We had to improvise with elbow macaroni and store-bought sauce, which affected the taste a bit I’m sure, but overall this was a great ‘go-to’ recipe for a busy night.

This was so good, and easy! We used ground buffalo instead, and Greek yogurt since we didn’t have sour cream on hand. I also used some grated Romano cheese in addition to the other cheese. The other thing I added was half an onion and two very small zucchinis while browning the meat to add some more veggies.

I just made this for dinner tonight. It seems like it could be a healthier choice in place of “Hamburger Helper”..you can at least control some of the ingredients this way.
I served this to hubby who loved HH in his college days, a 29 yr old son, a 21 yr old daughter and friend.
They liked it quite a bit.
In reading the other comments I think it needed a little more zip at least for our grown up tastes.
I’m sure that kids would LOVE LOVE LOVE this as Ree’s Boy Punks did!
I did add a little minced onion and a little more garlic powder altho’ I think adding minced garlic would be super.
I agree with another comment asking for the recipe for a home made sauce!
I agree that the sauce is probably key here.
I also think experimenting with other cheeses would be good as the mozzarella was pretty bland and I used more than the recipe called for.

I made this last night and my kids love it. They inhaled it! Thanks for the recipe, I’ll be making it again!

This was very easy to make and really tasty. Both my brother and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. My boyfriend said, “this tastes like stirred up lasagna” so the name is spot on! We will definitely be having this again!

Can you share your recipe for the home made sauce? This dish sounds great and I’m going to attempt it this week!

I found her recipe for the marinara sauce in her recipe box. This looks yummy! Will definitely try this soon!

I made this for dinner tonight. It was great! I had to make some substitutions (plain yogurt for the sour cream, I was running low on Italian Seasoning too), but it still was excellent and satisfied my hungry kids. I had it on the table in under 1/2 hour and it made enough for leftovers tomorrow (and probably the next day too). Thanks for the great recipe!

Tried this last night, didn’t have Bow Ties so I used Radiatori and it was excellent. Definitely going into rotation as a quick and yummy dinner.

Made this last night, the fam loved it. My only suggestion would be that you season to taste. After I served it I realized that I probably could have put some more seasoning in it or “pump it up” a little with some spicey seasoning. Makes a huge pot and definitely more for another meal. Thanks!!

Super fast and easy! I think I needed to use a different sauce though. It lacked a little flavor. I also added a few red pepper flakes, I’ll add more next time! Still, very tasty!

YUM! Still in the pan, but better than any box of Hamburger Helper I have ever had to displeasure of having. And it was fast, too.

I made this the other night for dinner and it was delicious! I did make some minor alterations to the recipe–we like our lasagna ‘saucy’ so I doubled the amount of sauce and actually used mini-bow ties because my 5 year old has some weird aversion to the regular ones and doesn’t classify them as an edible spaghetti. And of course I added more cheese to the end. It was so easy and so tasty! If I was only making this for a one night dinner I’d probably half the recipe though. Thank you. I’m going to look for your homemade marinara recipe as well, but how do you can it? Hmmm something else to learn
