Description

I love fondue. It is so much fun for every age to make their own food. My husband bought me two electric fondue pots a few years ago. They are so easy to use because you only need one pot and you can control the temperature. I serve this with cheese fondue.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 5 cups Beef Broth (two 14-ounce Cans Of Beef Broth And 1 Can Of Water)
  • ⅓ cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sherry
  • _____
  • FOR SERVING:
  • Beef Tenderloin
  • Mushrooms

Preparation

Add the garlic to the electric fondue pot. Add the beef broth. Combine the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and sherry. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

You can marinate the beef tenderloin in your favorite marinade for about an hour before you cook it.

Spear the beef strips and mushrooms in the broth for about 3 to 5 minutes.

You can also serve the fondue with tater tots, veggies, bread and cheese fondue.

I have ditched my ‘meatballs in canola oil’ fondue recipe for this one.
I cooked sirloin and baby portobello’s and they were outstanding!
