Description

A slow cooker recipe using up stuff from the fridge and pantry. Kid friendly and even better the next day for lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Pork
  • ½ pounds Dry Pinto Beans
  • 1 bottle BBQ Sauce
  • 1 can Coke
  • ½ bottles Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Pressed
  • ½ whole Small Onion, Diced

Preparation

Sort and rinse the beans. Put them in the slow cooker. Pour the Coke on top. Put in the meat. Pour on the bbq and chipotle sauce. Add garlic and onions. Cook on low for 8 hours. It takes that long for the beans to get soft. Add salt and pepper to taste. Shred pork and return to sauce.

(I had some bbq sauce to mix in with the meat after I pulled it into shreds.)
