Description

A super easy and delicious chicken dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Thick Chicken Breasts
  • Salt And Pepper
  • ½ cups Honey
  • ½ cups Dijon Mustard
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Parsley
  • ½ teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper (or More To Taste)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Rinse off the chicken breasts and pat dry. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper on each side and place in a 9×13 baking dish.

In a bowl, mix the honey, mustard, basil, parsley, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne. Make sure everything is well combined.

Pour half of the sauce over the chicken and spread to cover the top portion. I used my hands but you can use a brush.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Turn chicken over and pour the remaining sauce as evenly as possible. Bake for another 10-15 minutes depending on how thick your chicken breasts are. I buy Sprouts chicken and they are enormous so I baked them for the full 45 minutes and they turned out tender and juicy. If you have smaller, thinner chicken breasts, bake for less time or until juices run clear.

Serve over rice. Enjoy.

So, so good! And the chicken breasts are not dry, so juicy! Thanks!

This was great! I was looking for something to “marinate” my chicken in while it was in the oven – I didn’t have hours to marinate; I was starting to get hungry!
This was great because it was so simple to pull together with ingredients I had on hand. I’m not much of a spicy person, so I halved the amount of cayenne.
It was delicious!

I made this tonight, and it was really tasty! It was a little spicy for my taste, and I even used a little less cayenne than it called for. So next time I’ll use maybe 1 teaspoon and go from there. But it was an easy, tasty sauce. Thanks for the recipe!
