A mac and cheese that’s perfect for fall.
Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Drain and set aside when done.
Combine apples, chicken and olive oil in a large skillet. Place over a medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is done. Season with black pepper, salt and rubbed sage. Remove skillet from heat and set aside.
Add whipping cream and butter into a large saucepan and heat slowly until the butter is melted. Add cubed Swiss cheese stir occasionally. When the cheese is almost all the way melted, add in flour and mix or whisk well until there are no lumps. Once you are certain the cheese is melted add pasta and apples into the skillet with chicken. Mix well, heat for a minute or two over medium heat and then serve hot. Add extra salt or pepper to taste.

In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
