Description

A light and airy waffle. Perfect for a weekend breakfast or to freeze and enjoy during the week.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • Pinch Of Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • ½ cups Butter, Melted
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2  Large Eggs, Beaten

Preparation

In a large batter bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Make a well in the flour mixture and add in milk, butter, vanilla and eggs. Stir all ingredients together until smooth.

Follow instructions of your waffle maker to cook waffles.

Tips:
Freeze waffles and toast desired amount of waffles from frozen in toaster.
Top waffles with fresh fruit, whip cream, maple syrup, confectioner’s sugar or cinnamon.
Serve as a dessert topped with ice cream and carmel or hot fudge.

This is a keeper. I’ve tried other recipes but this is the only one where my 10 year old told me they were “awesome”. Husband loved them too. Thanks for sharing.

These turned out really good. fluffy and a little sweet.I only made half a batch and added an extra 1/4 cup of flour due to other reviewers saying they were soggy. thanks for the recipe

These turned out way too soggy and buttery. I think I would only use 1/4 cup of butter next time and a bit less milk.

Delicious flavor. They turned out a little soggy, though. May use a little less milk next time. Great recipe, will definitely make these again.
