Oh. My. God.
Sinful! I also added a bit more maple (cuz I love it), a bit more sugar (to thicken), a touch of vanilla, and used half n’ half instead of milk. But seriously, the brown butter sends this over the top. I put it over afarmgirlsdabbles “yeasted waffle” recipe and almost died from the overwhelming deliciousness.
That icing is fabulous! It is a must to go with the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes.
Delish with the Cinnamon bun pancakes! Can’t wait to try this yummy icing on other things too!
This icing is to die for. SO good.
My husband and I went on a couples retreat and I made the Cinnamon Bun pancakes with this icing. It was purely magical! I could eat this stuff with a spoon. I will DEFINITELY be keeping this stuff on hand to cover as many things as possible with it.

Very delicious! I had to add almost another cup of powdered sugar and it still wasn’t white like the picture. However, the taste was phenomenal! I did brown my butter first because of the suggestion. Make sure you sift your powdered sugar in!
Wow, this is RICH. Fun to have tried, but a bit too over the top for our tastes. If that’s what you like, you will be thrilled with this recipe.
