A Oreo cheesecake, but in cookie form. A favorite for those Oreo cheesecake lovers out there.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese using a hand mixer until they are well combined.
Add the sugar and vanilla and mix until ingredients are well combined. Add the flour and mix on low until the flour is incorporated. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough into 1″ balls (I used a scoop to insure all measured the same) and roll in Oreo cookie crumbs so cookie is covered. Place covered cookie balls onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the tops are slightly puffed.
Cool on the pan for two minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool. Once cool, drizzle cookies with melted white chocolate. Enjoy!

These are so good! I made them last weekend to take to a friend’s for dinner. Her daughter is allergic to eggs, so these cookies were perfect!
My dough was very sticky and thin, so I was worried I had done something wrong… but onnce I rolled in the oreo crumbs and baked they were good!
Thanks for the recipe!!

These were tasty! I did agree with some of the other reviewers that they were a bit sweet. So happy I made these though, the dough itself unbaked was so good! I made a couple tweaks:
-added 1/2 tsp salt
-when i crushed the oreos, i actually removed the creme filling. the filling is UBER sugary and probably lends to the “too sweet” opinion. you could probably use some other chocolate cookie like teddy grahams so you don’t have any filling to remove but then they wouldn’t be oreo cookies

I just made the cookies. They turned out just okay. They’re yummy and edible, but I don’t think I’ll make them again.
