A veggie-packed black bean burger full of flavor that fills your stomach and your heart with love.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • ¼ cups Finely Diced Bell Pepper
  • ¼ cups Green Onions, diced

  • ½ cups Bread Crumbs
  • 3 whole Toasted Buns, To Serve

Preparation

Mash black beans with a potato masher until chunky. To a large bowl, add black beans, bell pepper, green onion, lime juice, carrot, cumin, cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic, egg, and bread crumb. Mix with your hands until firm and sticky. (If the mixture separates too much, add more bread crumbs. )

Serve on toasted buns with avocado and hummus. Makes 3 servings.

“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 NIV

I was immediately drawn in by the name of the recipe (who doesn’t want to try black bean love burgers?). I’m glad for the hook because these were delicious, especially with the avocado!
