A creamy spread perfect for bagels, sandwiches, or crudités. This is the savory version. To make it sweeter, omit the bouillon powder and pepper and increase the sugar to 2 teaspoons. Use nutritional yeast, not brewer’s yeast.
Drain excess liquid from the tofu by placing it between paper towels and patting gently.
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until very smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides. Taste and adjust seasonings or add more liquid for a thinner consistency. Refrigerate overnight before eating. Keep it in an airtight container and it will be fresh for 5 days.
