Homemade Barbecue Sauce with Pakistani spices. No liquid smoke needed.
Heat oil then add chopped onion, ginger, garlic and chopped red chili. Stir these in for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
Allow the sauce to cool down. Once the sauce has cooled down, place it in a blender and blend until smooth.
