Description

A basic recipe for beef stew.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef Stew Meat, Diced Small
  • 4 whole Large Carrots, Sliced Or Chopped
  • 4 stalks Celery, Chopped
  • 1 whole Large Onion, Chopped
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Beef Bouillon Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ cups Pearl Or Pot Barley
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Tomato Sauce

Preparation

Place all ingredients into a slowcooker and stir gently. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or on high for 5–6 hours.

Substitute rice if you do not have barley.
