This recipe is from my mother-in-law. Everyone remembers her making this. Now they ask me to make it, now that she is longer with us. A great side dish for any dinner or just dessert.
1. Dissolve jello into the boiling water.
2. Add strawberries and their juice and mix well.
3. When dissolved, add undrained pineapple and mix.
4. Pour half into a 9 x 13 pan.
5. Place pan in the refrigerator until jello is very firm.
6. Leave the remaining jello at room temperature.
7. When jello from the fridge is firm, spread carefully with sour cream.
8. Pour the remaining jello mixute on top of the sour cream.
9. Refrigerate till firm.
10. Cut into squares.
