Description

Quick burgers with bacon. Yummy!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 pounds Ground Turkey
  • ¼ cups Mustard (i Like Spicy.. But Whatev)
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Cook the bacon in the oil until it is crispy. Let cool and then chop it up. Set the skillet with oil and drippings aside.

In a large mixing bowl combine the ground turkey, chipotle powder, salt and pepper, mustard, and chopped bacon. Shape the turkey mix into burgers. You can also leave a well and stuff with cheese.

Return the skillet you cooked the bacon in to medium-high heat. Add the burgers to the hot skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Then reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the burgers for 5 minutes longer, flipping occasionally.

I serve the burgers on a bun and let the kids put the condiments (lettuce, tomato, pickles, or just ketchup…)
