Simple easy meat sauce recipe which I love to make in bulk. With our busy lifestyle, this recipe can be divided and put in the freezer. Its best with cheese ravioli or just plain ol’ spaghetti noodles.
In a pot with a lid, brown meat and drain off grease.
Add garlic and diced tomatoes with seasoning. Cook about 20 minutes. Add a little salt and pepper for taste.
Add tomato sauces and stir. The basil and parsley can now be added to the sauce. Put lid on and let cook for 1.5 hours. Stir about every 20 mins.
Taste and if it needs a little sugar, I like to add 1 to 2 tsp. of sugar. Mix.
Add Romano Cheese at the end of cooking.
