This is such a great recipe, but I’m actually embarrassed by how easy it is. I love throwing this together on nights that I’m really busy. It’s so tasty! Also, if you are hesitant about sour cream, you can add as much or as little as you like. The more the better for me, but I’m addicted to it!
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Butter a baking dish.
Chop the onion into a small dice and throw into a microwavable bowl. Add in the stick of butter. Heat in the microwave for 15 to 30-second increments until the butter is completely melted. Once melted, add in the box of stuffing. Stir to thoroughly coat. If you feel the stuffing is too dry, add a tablespoon of chicken broth.
Take the chicken tenders and lay them in the casserole dish. Season the chicken tenders with kosher salt and pepper. Then slather on the sour cream. I sometimes use 1 1/2 small containers or 1 large container. It truly depends on how much you enjoy the sour cream.
After the chicken is covered, throw the stuffing on top and around the chicken. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and pop it in the oven. I let it bake for an hour or so, and I normally just check to see if the chicken is done by cutting it open.

What a great idea this one is! It’s just like having Thanksgiving dinner in a fraction of the time! Very tasty and a good use for some left over chicken we had! Suprisingly tasty and flavorful – the family loved it!
